No worries, it’s just a computer virus, I’m absolutely fine.
It’s a kinda of embarrasing, working in IT, telling everyone: “don’t open emails or files from unknown sources!!”, “update your antivirus and scan your computer once a week”, etc… and I opened a suspicious file convinced that my 50 euros/year Norton System Security license was a [...]

Today is one of those days that I really understand why people here is so desperate to escape to warmer and sunnier countries as much as possible and I also understand why they are so keen to buy houses thousands of miles away from their places. Today is raining a lot but it’s ok… [...]

Today was hashing day, my favourite hash of the week, not only because the guys are bloody fast and the route are quite tough and that makes a good training but also because these hashings are usually close and I can go there and back home cycling and it’s a kinda of brick session-duathlon training.

I was wondering if I would be able to survive a week of training without my beloved Forerunner. This is how it’s been so far:
Sunday, social bike ride with club mates. Around 36 miles in over 2h20m (or that’s what I guess for other distances/times + my ride from/to home)
The usual bike rides daily from [...]

Not very long ride, just some miles to remind my legs that they will have no rest until Christmas. Weather wasn’t [...]

I finally rode the 100 miles for the first time ever, it took over 7 hours sat on the uncomfortable saddle although I was around 45 minutes stopped divided in the two feeding stations the organization provided us. 232 riders finished the 100 miles and 180 the 60 miles. It’s funny because when I [...]

3 days to go and finally today I decided go there the day before so I don’t have to wake up at 4am and drive more than 2 hours to get there and then ride on the bike for more than 6 hours. I’m not a teenager anymore But, because it’s that late, all [...]

I’m not sure yet if I will ride the 100mile route next week but after this ride of almost 70 miles, I reckon I might do 30 more… or maybe not!
Dave, Sergio, Yolanda (Sergio’s girlfriend) and myself with a very poor weather, wet and windy (although today looks much worse). After 30 miles, Dave and [...]

Adam, Sergio and myself. We started with the “easy” Modbury route and then back to Saltash with Adam. Sergio and I thought that it wasn’t enough in a lovely weather like today and after a quick visit to Certini we rode part of my favourite route in Cornwall doing at the end 105km.
We finish the [...]
